United States Army (USA):

The ground warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces. Its primary function is to secure and defend the nation and its interests.

United States Navy (USN):

The naval warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces. It is responsible for the protection of sea lanes, the deployment of naval forces, and projecting power overseas.

United States Air Force (USAF):

The aerial warfare service branch of the United States Armed Forces. It is primarily responsible for aerial warfare, air defense, and space operations.

United States Marine Corps (USMC):

A branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for providing power projection from the sea, using the mobility of the United States Navy to rapidly deliver combined-arms task forces.

Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and remembering veterans by laying wreaths on the graves of fallen soldiers across the United States. Each December, volunteers gather at participating cemeteries, including Arlington National Cemetery, to place remembrance wreaths on the gravesites, paying tribute to those who served and sacrificed for their country. The organization's mission extends beyond the holiday season, aiming to teach younger generations about the value of freedom and the importance of honoring those who have served. Through the efforts of volunteers and supporters nationwide, Wreaths Across America serves as a poignant reminder of the nation's gratitude to its military members.
